Words of Power: Undeath Question

Hello all. I am going to be playing in an upcoming game and decided to roll a combat Cleric with a taste for necromancy. I like the Words of Power variant and am curious on the Undeath word. It states it's target restriction is 'selected' which mentions only 1 target for the spell. Does this mean a base spell of Selected Undeath can only animate 1 corpse, or am I missing something? I searched the forums before posting and couldn't find any references to this at all, but in case I missed it, my apologies for a dressing it again.

Nobody has an answer for this? Am I just an idiot and obviously it's only 1 target? Ha hopefully not.

A wordspell with this target word affects a single target within range. If the wordspell deals energy damage, this word creates a ray that requires a ranged touch attack to hit, or it can be used as a melee touch attack with no range (decided by the wordcaster when the wordspell is cast). If it is used as a melee touch attack and the attack misses, the wordcaster can hold the charge and try again with subsequent attacks.

Boost: Instead of one target, the wordspell affects up to one target per caster level, no two of which can be more than 30 feet apart. The range increases to medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level). If used with an effect word that deals energy damage, the wordcaster must make multiple ray attacks for each target (they cannot be made as melee touch attacks). This boosted target word increases the level of all the effect words in the spell by 3 levels.

So it is 1 target unless you boost it, making it a higher level spell.

You can, just like animate dead, cast it multiple times to get multiple undead minions.

Alright. That's what I thought, but reading around makes it seem like it can bring up multiple undead which lead to my confusion. Casting it multiple times kinda sucks and doesn't allow for a whole lot of castings of it sadly. Thank you though for the help.
