Quiggong Monk Eldritch Knight

Rules Questions

OK I'm trying to create a "Jedi" like character. So I'm thinking of a Monk and Empyreal Sorcerer for Jump, Feather Fall, and some cantrips.

So can a 6th level Quiggong Monk that takes Gaseous Form as a Ki Power qualify for the 3rd level arcane spell-casting prereq of Eldritch Knight? Yes, he would need another class dip in something for the Martial Prof.

Then, the knight class increases the sorcerer casting class.

thanks

Sohei archetype would get you the Martial proficiency and let you minimize the number of base/core classes you need.

Sohei monk gets all the martial profs. You'll actually get in faster(if that's what you're looking for) as aasimar with your empyreal sorcerer at 3rd level. You get to flurry in light brawling enchanted armor so you'll do more damage hand to hand and have a better AC.

two steps forward, one step back

While Sohei is cool and gives the Martial Prof, it does not work with Quiggong. The whole idea is to have one caster level when he enters EK and qualify with the monk Ki Power. If he can qualify for EK.

Sohei works with Quiggong you can check the faq here http://paizo.com/paizo/faq/v5748nruor1fz#v5748eaic9qnl

As per Jinjifra: Qinggong works with everything. Granted in this specific instance you may lose some cool ki powers, but it still works.
