PFS and NPC races?

Advice

I've got a witch at lvl 1 and she'll be beast bonded.
Now at lvl 10 she gains the Twin Soul. Edit after Jiggy's post
[She or familiar dies, the dying/dead enters and coexists within the other's body]

Suppose, in a scenario of lvl 10 she would indeed "die" (body lost beyond help) while fighting an normal wise NPC race and she succeeds in taking over the body of said NPC.
She completes the scenario while in this body of a non-playable race.
[insert humanoid race here]

How will this work out?

You correct the problem by the end of the session, or the character is reported as retired, same as perma-death.

By correcting, what are you suggesting, fluffing her into the body of a normally comatose person?

Would taking over a pc race body on the other hand keep her "in the loop"?

I don't see an ability called shared body, I see Twin Soul, which says nothing about being able to inhabit an NPC.

Yes i meant that twin soul.

They can persist in this state indefinitely, or the guest can return to its own body (if available) by touch, transfer into a suitable vessel (such as a clone), or take over another body as if using magic jar (with no receptacle).

Whoops, overlooked that line.

Okay, so it works like Magic Jar. In PFS, spells and effects end at the conclusion of the scenario, so your Magic Jar effect will end regardless.

Concerning a new body at the conclusion of the scenario. Are there valid ways to obtain a pc playable body so she won't be forced into retirement/semi death?

Is the PC's original body truly in a state where 5 prestige points won't retrieve it? If the answer is yes, then that PC's story is over. If the body is retreivable one still has the raising/ressurrection to deal with.
