I'm am running the second darkness AP and was wondering wat is the proper lvl for my pcs to end book 2 on
It should say in the back of the book. Other wise i belive they should be around 7-8 as the third book http://paizo.com/products/btpy85ep?Pathfinder-15-Second-Darkness-Chapter-3- The-Armageddon-Echo says that that is what level players should be.

It is on the second page in the front of book 3 underneath all the credits for paizo publishing.
Open the cover and Turn that first crisp page and look in the bottom 25% of the text. It says that AP#3 is for a group of four adventurers @ level 7.
That is also (in case people are wondering) the same level you would be at the end of book 2. :D
Actually, the APs did not routinely show the expected level progressions until after Second Darkness was published.
Keep in mind, too, that the AP was published under 3.5, so the "Fast" XP track for Pathfinder is most appropriate.
Also, there is a mention in Armageddon Echo (in the text or a sidebar; I don't have my copy in front of me at the moment) that the PCs will likely be short of the expected level.. so that GMs can provide some customized encounters for their group while journeying... so, the PCs are *not* expected to end Book 2 at the levels recommended for Book 3.
Just curious but anyone know what lvl the party will be by the end of the campaign? Not looking for spoilers just don't want to build a character that has me get my hopes up for a capstone ability
