Missing Info?

Hello All,

Just wondering if someone could help us out. I've just checked this forum for the first time in a long time. The land grab seems to be going on and our guild has not been contacted, nor are we listed on the nifty guild sheet and we are larger (6 members) than some that have taken part of these activities?

Have we missed something? Is there an email(s) we've not received?

Thanks everyone for your help.

Yes, you should have gotten a few e-mails about it.

See here, here, and here for info to get you started.

CBDunkerson beat me to it. Those links should get you on your way.

There was an email sent from goblinworks to all the kickstarter backers announcing the start of the Landrush.

Its not too late to participate! There are still nine more weeks of the landrush, and an organized group could easily capture a settlement during those nine weeks.

You'll need to have everyone create their accounts on Goblinworks.com and have purchased access to early enrollment for each member. Once that happens you should be able to vote and participate in the landrush, either by voting for an existing settlement, or having one of your members create a new "guild" on the goblinworks site and everyone else votes for that guild.

Keep in mind that the landrush is only for determining initial settlements sometime in the early enrollment part of the game. Voting for a settlement in the landrush does not obligate you to join any particular in-game group, and if you don't participate in the landrush, you can still create your own company with your friends, and even create a new settlement in an empty hex later in the game.

this is new and different from the first land rush. The basic run down is in the blog, which is linked above in CBDunkerson's post. Basically you have to signup on the GW site and create a guild there, then have your friends do the same, except instead of creating a guild, they join yours.

However, especially since week 1 is already done and over with, something to consider is working with others to secure a settlement of common interests. The term "Guild" land rush is a bit confusing to some. The guild you create for this land rush 2 has absolutely no bearing on any guild you may or may not create once PFO is live and running. Even joining another "guild" for this land rush doesn't mean you are required to join them, or will be forced into their guild when you first log in or anything like that. If you do decide to join another guild already owning a spot on the map, or join with a smaller guild to unseat one of the guilds already claimed, then simply create your accounts and vote for that guild/settlement.

Any further questions, just ask.
