What our your opinions on whether the bonus from Bestow Insight can be used for the magic item creation spellcraft check?

The problem I see is the time investment. Unless you had someone standing there constantly refreshing the spell it wouldn't last through the whole crafting processes. Otherwise I'd see no reason while it would work provided the crafter had the right feats and spells.
That seems like an odd take on spell casting during item creation. You obviously don't recast the spell you're putting into the item over and over.

Are you making an item that casts or allows the use of Bestow Insight or wanting the benefit of that spell on the spellcraft check to make something else?
If it's the former, then you are correct to say that you only need to cast it once per day; if it is the latter, then you will need it to be active throughout the process, as Suma3da stated.
It's probably best to make an item with a continuous bonus first. And maybe something with a competence bonus too?
