We have sold through all the leatherette Emerald Spire units that have been produced. For now, we have asked Paizo to remove the Print Pack Add-On from the Pledge Manager while we work to determine what our next option will be.
We need to hold back a small number of these books to replace those that are lost or damaged in shipping. We believe we will have enough units for all the people who have already selected the Print Pack Add On and finalized their pledge but it is possible that if you selected this Add-On in the past week or so that we may need to remove that book from your order.
It is likely but not certain that our fix to this will be to offer the Print Pack Add-On with the regular Emerald Spire cover on a go-forward basis. That is the solution we are investigating now but we can't promise that will be the final decision until we have fully researched the implications. As soon as we have decided what our best option is, we will return with a further update.
We took a look at the data in the Pledge Manager just to double-check our assumptions.
There are about 890 people who have never accessed the Pledge Manager. Of those, about 80-90% are $35 pledges.
There are about two dozen pledges with amounts more than $100, and only about a dozen that could be pledges at the $5, $15 or $35 level + a $100 Add-On.
This is the same information we used when we estimated the print run for the Leatherette covers for the book. In other words, there are a very, very small number of backers who COULD, but are not for certain, expecting to access the system and select the Print Pack at this juncture.
Since this problem likely affects such a small number of backers, we're sure we can work out something equitable to each of them if and when they contact us with concerns.

I am one of the people that backed at the $100 level and then upped my pledge to a total of $250, so that I could get the print package as well as additional beenies for my character. However, because I have been away since May 20, 2014 with limited opportunity to review the KS posts until tonight, I'm concerned about transferring my account to goblinworks and not getting the package that I clearly pre-paid for. I've already received my print editions of the map pack, but that might have been from backing the first KS program at $100.
I want to make sure that I'm not left out of the deal that I paid for just for having been away for less than two weeks.
