Are Floating Disks solid?

Rules Questions

So it's a force effect. Does that mean it is solid like a Wall of Force?

Can a floating disk be attacked?

Does it provide cover for somebody hiding underneath it from attack from above (or vice versa)?

It will hold water or other liquid, so that's a pretty good indication that it's solid enough.

Can it be attacked ? Sure. Will your attack have any effect ? Not likely. Compare with unseen servant.

That's entirely up to the GM. It's only 3 feet in diameter, smaller than some shields. Imagine a shield lying on the floating disk. Does that shield provide cover ? If not, then the disk doesn't either.

It is a solid force effect, so I would treat it like a three foot diameter floating wall of force, but without the dispel immunity. It's tiny, so I would only allow it to provide a standard +4 cover for a medium creature on attacks from above. It also is exactly three feet off the ground, so you would have to fall prone to benefit from the cover. The cover bonus and the prone penalty would cancel each other out.

Your Familiar would beg to differ.

If you, as a Small creature, use Reduce Person, you could also walk under it.

My halfling is only 2'11" Sure it is only one inch clearance, but that is more than I really need. So I also would beg to differ.
