Quick PFS Recharge Question

Friend got a wand of summon monster 1 caster level 3 with just a few charges. I don't remember how many charges it originally had.

He only has 1 charge left and the chronicle sheet said "Limit 1"

So he was wanting to recharge the one he has. I told him I don't think that is possible for wand in PFS since you can't craft anything. But I said I would check to see if I am correct.

So, is there any way to recharge his wand in PFS?

Not anymore (IIRC one of the retired scenarios had an opportunity to recharge magic items).

In general, it's not even permitted by standard Pathfinder rules. Wands are not normally rechargeable.

Should not be long before he can afford the fame to buy one though.

Except you cannot buy wands with higher then minimum caster level regardless of fame, they have to appear on chronicles.

There is at least 1 active chronicle that allows for the chance to recharge a magical items, but it's a tier 14-16 chronicle

That's what I thought. I will let him know it is a no go.

Shouldn't really be that big a deal. A CL 3 SM1 won't be all that terribly necessary much longer.
