Lini and the Poison Pill reward

Just picked up the add-on deck and had fun running through Brigandoom! solo with Lini and Amiri. I noticed that the reward for The Poison Pill is to draw a weapon from the box. But Lini can't have weapons between scenarios, so am I right that it's a wasted reward for her? The only thing I can see is that it's one more weapon to trade among other characters who also succeeded at that scenario during that session. Does that about sum it up?

Yes. You are correct. Mike has stated that if the random card reward is useless to you for this reason, go ahead and swap out another type of random card. So maybe draw a random item or something.

The Weapon Lini draws is added to the pool of cards from which you remake your decks at the end of the scenario, so even if you decide to follow the rewards listed on the scenario, maybe Lini will draw a weapon that Amiri might want. Eventually, you'll encounter a scenario reward that Amiri may not want but that would be helpful to Lini; the pendulum swings both ways

Thanks - I think I will just do what the card says when playing solo unless I'm only playing a single character, since as we've said, you're likely to have one of the group who can use the card.
