Like the title says, and what was the class name and book it was from?

Planar Shepard gave a druid full casting, wild shape, and animal companion progression and gave you planar superpowers for basically nothing.

Beyond that, casters didn't have many, if any, class features so almost any PRC with full casting basically gave them their class+1. Similarly, a lot of classes looked pretty bare because back in 3.5 you didn't have rage powers or weapon/armor training. As books went on classes tended to be more loaded, though no guarantees.

Is there a particular aspect of evengalist your referring to?

What do you mean? The name?

There was a 3.5 class called Evangelist, in Complete Divine.

Or do you mean a class with abilities based on the deity followed?

Mythic Exemplar and Sanctified One from Complete Champion are like that.

Advanced all class features?

As MrSin pointed out, a lot of classes didn't have much in the way of class features.

Anything with full spellcasting pretty much worked for Sorcerer, Wizard, and most of Cleric. You could find some that advanced familiars, provided some bonus feats, or increased Turning to cover the only non-spellcasting features too.

Fighters only got bonus feats, so anything with full BAB worked.

Some even advanced classes with features, like Planar Shepard and Arcane Heirophant.

I mean one that after a level advanced whatever class you had designated as if you were part of that class.

Sorry I realise there are several features within it that could be sought after.
