How do I determine the hp and hardness of items for sunder? I want to know for spell pouches and holy symbols specifically in order to cripple casters.
The "Additional Rules" chapter of the CRB has a chart of hardness/HP for various materials.
Leather (the most likely for a pouch) is hardness 2 with 5HP/inch.
Wood (for cheap holy symbols) is hardness 5 with 10HP/inch.
Silver (for spiffy holy symbols) is not listed there, but over in Special Materials in the Equipment chapter it's hardness 8 with 10HP/inch.
