Any way to get the benefits (or the actual feat) of Combat Reflexes?

Advice

So playing in a game with a reposition/trip fighter but none of the rest of the party has combat reflexes so we can't take real advantage of his tactics. Any way to get the benefits of Combat Reflexes without actually taking the feat?

There's a trait that gets you an extra AoO if you happen to be the right race with the right weapon (think it's elf).

theres also a barbarian rage power that adds one more aoo.

There's paragon surge for half-elves casters.

It'd help a lot if we knew what the rest of the party's class/race is. For the most part though this one of the things that if you want it to work then you're probably going to have to bite the bullet and take the feat. It's a great feat though especially when you have a group dynamic that can take advantage of it.

Why can't you take the feat?

It looks like the OP is saying that he's optimized a trip build, but in order for it to work to it's full potential, his other party members must be able to take more than one AoO a round.

I'd say let them do as they choose, and if are lucky enough to just so happen to be near the trip target, they use their one AoO.

*edit*
There don't seem to be any magic items granting it, and it'd be largely up to working with your DM.

There's a 3rd party race from Unapproachable East, the Blooded One, that grants Combat reflexes, but your party's races are probably already set.

The issue is that everyone's feats are pretty much spoken for...

I think you'll find that they'll be lucky to get their one AoO per round. You win if your trips give each martial ally one AoO.

Make sure you can also use your reach and AoOs to inflict damage. Sometimes that's a better choice than a trip.

It's too bad that no one wants to build a character optimized to exploit tripped foes. That's their choice. Even without such an ally, tripping can be an excellent tactic.

No items do it. Trying to find my 'spells that act like feats' list.

The Magus with the Kensai archetype gets it. Or more accurately, gets a version of it that stacks with Combat Reflexes. I think it is at level 7 or so.

As of now, the feats you can acquire through spells are: Improved Critical, Lunge, Martial Weapon Proficiency, Run, Simple Weapon Proficiency, Throw Anything, All Weapon Proficiencies (including exotic), and any teamwork feat you have --> you can apply to your teammates.

Once I figure out how to post google documents, I will post this. This came from part 2 of 3 of my Mystic Theurge guide.

Scarab Sages

Kensai gets an ability that duplicates, and stacks with, Combat reflexes.

If the party's feats are 'spoken for,' then I think we can assume any of them taking several levels of Kensai Magus is out of the question.

OP: If there are no feats and no multiclassing, then the answer is "no."
