Snapping Turtle Clutch + Charge AoOs

Rules Questions

Okay,

I have a player who is a grappling monk and we got into an argument over Snapping Turtle Clutch. We resolved the big issues with it but I have a lingering question about the interaction of this feat with a charge. Here's the scenario:

Monk charges a giant.
Giant takes his AoO at 10ft range.
Monk uses STC to grapple and succeeds.

Question: does the monk's charge complete and allow him to make a melee attack before his turn ends or is he done and unable to make a second grapple?

Here's how it basically should have worked out, presuming all information provided is accurate.

1) Monk charges giant. Giant has 10' natural reach.
2) Giant attempts AoO as monk charges through 10' square and misses.
3) Monk spends immediate action to make grapple check @-2; succeeds. As per Grapple rules, if the target isn't adjacent to you when you make the grapple, you automatically move them adjacent so Giant is dragged adjacent to Monk.
4) Monk cannot continue the movement portion of his charge because the square he was attempting to move into is now occupied by the giant, so his movement ends in the square he had tried to leave.
5) He now executes his attack against the Giant as you can attack with light and 1-h weapons even while grappled.
6) Monk's turn is finished.
