Sooner or later, my PC's are going to attempt to hide someone that has been knocked out, without wanting to kill them. Which rules out the fun stuff like disintegrate, shatter and polymorph (into a chair or something).
Aside from obvious things like stuffing the dude into a closet, out a window, or laying a blanket over them, what could they possible do?
And as a DM, what could I do, should the situation be in reverse?

Cast invisibility on him then move him to an out of the way spot where someone isn't likely to trip over him.
If you don't cast spells, but are expecting to have to do this kind of thing, get an oil of invisibility to rub over the body.

Invisibility only lasts a min/level which might work if the PCs are getting in an and out quickly and are high enough level.
Illusory wall, which is permanent, to make one part of the room a bit shorter than it really is and hide the body behind that.
or, they can break open a wall and stuff the body inside then use Mend or Make Whole on the wall.
