First of all, thanks for the business, everyone. The last three days have increased Interjection Games' take for the month by a full 50% and my monthly sales goal for compound 10% growth has been met as of about five minutes ago. Another five months of that and I'll be making a living wage. Bless you all!
Here's a sneak peek of the high concept for Interjection Games' tenth base class, the Sanguine Disciple!
Overview
3/4 BAB
Good Fort/Will
Proficient with simple weapons and a select few martial weapons
Has a bonded martial weapon with which he is proficient
Paladin-style spell progression, focus on abjuration, necromancy, and transmutation
Maestro-style spellcasting with Con as the casting stat
Uses maneuvers
The Sanguine Disciple is a martial-heavy class that focuses on Constitution above all else. That is to say, where a fighter hones strength, the disciple hones endurance. Where the paladin looks for power from a god, the disciple draws upon the strength and potential of his own sinew. Though they may sound monkish, disciples are anything but. A monk seeks harmony with body and nature. A Sanguine Disciple's power is literally ripped from his own blood, temporarily reducing his Constitution score to power supernatural maneuvers that rend flesh as though it were butter, turn blood to acid, and more. With his bonded weapon, a disciple can drain the blood of worthy foes to populate a blood pool, allowing him to fuel his more powerful abilities with the blood of others rather than their own.
The constant draining and replenishing of blood has made the Sanguine Disciple very sturdy by necessity. He recovers from wounds with supernatural speed, shrugs off Constitution damage at increased rates, and can even sleep off Constitution drain at high levels.
A Sanguine Disciple worships bone and sinew, the potential of mankind, and the spark of godhood that exists in us all. Collectively, humanity moves mountains with the same declamatory power as a god, so why shouldn't that be feared and respected in much the same way? Individually, some few great paragons rise to such power as to challenge the gods themselves, and, rarely, supplant them. In every way, mankind is a match for the gods that seek to win their supplication. Does this mean a Sanguine Disciple has no use for the gods? Absolutely not! Gods are mighty and worthy of respect, but so is Man. Where others may grovel, a Sanguine Disciple stands tall. He knows the power of mortal flesh.

Interesting, I was looking at the Interjection Games classes, and thought to myself "I wonder if there will be a martial class". And then I saw this thread.
It sounds like something that would make a very scary vampire, but the irony is that undead have no Constitution score. So instead it is kind of the antithesis of a vampire.

When Preston (Mr. Edgewalker) came to me with a request for an blood-based fighter class with a touch of arcane power, I knew I had to throw as many of the playful irony switches as possible. So, a blood-based "disciple" that effectively worships himself and is a useless class for vampires?
Sparkles can be found to my right. The Sanguine Disciple can be found to my left :)

To be fair, I consider the brewmaster, the edgewalker, and tinkers with the right prestige class to be fairly heavy martial combatants.

Bloodsongs
The primary mechanic for the sanguine disciple, bloodsongs are techniques and other abilities that consume the vital power of blood to function. Bloodsongs have three subtypes, though not all bloodsongs have a subtype at all.
Most bloodsongs reduce the performer's maximum Constitution score when used. This is not damage or drain; no effect can heal it. This Constitution returns at the rate of 1 point per minute. Given all saves are Con-based, certain abilities become less useful very quickly.
A sanguine disciple has a blood pool with a maximum capacity of half his level. He may spend points from the blood pool in place of points of his own Constitution. Some abilities, most notably finishers, can replenish the blood pool.
Blood - Focusing internally, blood bloodsongs are stance-like abilities that grant a set of related bonuses. Only one bloodsong with the blood subtype can be active at any one time. They cannot be dismissed.
Builder - In addition to its other effects, a builder generates Focus. Focus has no limit, but decays by 1 point per round when out of combat.
Finisher - A finisher requires that the disciple have a certain amount of focus before it can be used. When a finisher is used, all of the disciple's focus is consumed, making banking it just to use a finisher with low requirements a bad idea.
