Monterey PFS Relaunch

I am starting Monterey PFS once again at Mythic Games in downtown Monterey.

I am maintaining a Facebook page with all the needed information, and will be starting up the Warhorn page again soon. You can also find information here on this site by searching for a game in this area.

I am looking for GMs who are willing to run games so that I can play from time to time, and so that if I were to suddenly not be able to run games the events can continue to happen. I am willing to run a GM only Adventure Path on the days we don't have PFS as an incentive.

We are gaming in the new and wonderful Mythic Games. They are still growing and setting up the store so it is a little rough around the edges, but the owner is super supportive of us having events there.

The game scheduled for the 10th will more than likely be canceled due to conflicting commitments.

I'm up in San Jose. Unfortunately, I have conflicts on saturdays, but I'll see about getting down there.

Look into the Silicon Valley Venture Lieutenants. They are eager and motivated, and if nothing else can give good suggestions.

We'd noticed that Mythic Games seemed to be showing up quite a bit recently; in fact getting in touch with the event coordinator there is on our "to do" list. Unfortunately getting over a nasty persistent bug, dealing with assorted issues arising from a house remodel, repairing water damage, and having somebody crash into our brand new car all got in the way. Then there's preparing for the upcoming convention - KublaCon! That's on the weekend of May 23rd - 26th, so we won't be able to make it down there for your May 24th date. But we'll try and get down there as soon after that as we can. My wife (and co-VL) will GM "We Be Goblins!" at the drop of a hat (she even provides the hat ...). If you'd be interested in that, or if there's anything else we can do for you, don't hesitate to get in touch. There may be a conflict with me continuing to be a coordinator for this though. I have a strongly possible job that I am interviewing for, and it will require me to work the nights PFS happens. But I want to keep this alive so I will keep working on coordinating until I can't anymore. Hopefully, if I get this job, I can find a replacement.

Okay, bad news.

My new job is going to totally conflict with me being able to organize and run this in this area. I need someone who can take over and do it. I have to work nights and evenings, and while they said I can request shifts and nights off when I asked about the Saturday nights for PFS I was told that was actually unlikely. Occasionally I can get a night off but I won't know if I have it for sure until less than a week before.

It sucks but I need to make a living.

Can anyone take up job from me? I don't want to see it just die so soon.
