Fame and prestige

Liberty's Edge

I've realized that on 2/3 of my chronicle sheets I seem to have gotten prestige points and only one the last one fame.
When do you get fame and when prestige point?
Excuse me if this question is too simple minded, I might just miss the point completely.

That last one is an older scenario before they had prestige. Just split the boxes in half and track the prestige and fame normally. If you got fame, then you also got prestige.

Shadow Lodge 2/5

Your fame is the total of all the prestige you have ever earned.

Grand Lodge

Whenever you earn prestige you earn the same amount of fame. The difference between the two is that you can spend prestige on items and on various other rewards. You can't spend fame, it's merely a ceiling for which rewards you qualify for and which items you can buy with gold.

Details can be found in the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play.

Grand Lodge 5/5

They are two halves of the same thing. When you earn one, you earn the other, so older chronicles that only show Prestige still give just that much Fame as well.

Fame is the running grand total the character has ever earned.

Prestige is a spendable resource. It is the current amount the character has left.
