Advice

Grand Lodge

I'm Currently Level 3 but will be Level 5 by the end of the Month. I have saved EXP to jump from 3-5. I am currently trying to Iron out what to Take and Buy on my Beastmaster Ranger Mounted Halfling. I have 2 builds in mind both have great benefits but I'm wondering which i would benefit more from in PFS. I'm still new to Society play (a few months) but have a few years of Pathfinder play in home groups where I strictly play casters. This is my first ever melee style Character so I'm still figuring out the finer points of melee combat.

First I will start with the builds:

Feats so far:

1-Mounted Combat
2 (ranger style feat)- Ride by attack
3- Spirited Charge

Both builds have Favored enemies: Human, Outsider, Undead (in that order)
Both have favored Terrains: Urban and Underground (in that order)

Original Straight Ranger Build 1:

Beastmaster Archetype Ranger
Feats:
5- Boon Companion- Giant Gecko
7- power attack
9-Teamwork- Escape route
10 (ranger style)- Mounted Skirmisher
11- Boon companion- Roc

The goal of this build is at level 12 I have 2 Animal comapanions. A effective level 8 Giant Gecko Mount who shares teamwork feat Escape route. And a effective level 12 Roc. With this build my Rangers damage progression is lower then build 2 but my damage is split up between the Roc and the Ranger at late game. I get power attack level 7 so I really depend on my Favored enemies to pan out for those 2 levels.

Ranger/fighter Multi-class Build 2:

Same Beastmaster Archetype (won't change)
Feats:
Level 5-Ranger4/F1- Boon companion & Power attack
level 7-ranger6/F1- Wheeling Charge or Risky striker (can't decide)
level 9-Ranger8/f1- Escape Route teamwork
level 11-Ranger10/f1- Mounted Skimisher (ranger style feat) & Wheeling Charge or Risky striker (can't decide)

level 12- Ranger 10/f2- Furious Focus/Improved critical (Dunno which would be better)
OR
level 12- Ranger11/F1- Quarry

Sadly if I dip even 1 level of anything I loose out on Strong Bond (Ex) from my Archetype which allows for Build 1 to have 2 strong companions.

The Other question is about the 2nd level dip of fighter...Is Quarry worth it as an ability over another feat and Bravery?

With Fighter Dip my Character becomes much stronger in the damage department Alone. I also can get sash of the war champion and have a +4 Bravery and armor training 1 with the 2 level dip or a +2 bravery and armor training 1 with a single level dip which is really nice. +4 plus +3 from being halfling equals out to a +7 against fear effects.

2 level dip and I will have a level 11 mount at level 12 but my damage will be much-much higher.

What would end up being the better choice?

My second Question comes down to Gear:

I will have roughly to 9k to spend.

Special materials in PFS. Is Adamantine necessary? Like it is 3K extra for the weapon. Is it worth Getting a +1 adamantine Lance and build from there or should I spend that extra 3k Gold towards other gear? Like I worry about constructs and DR/adamantine popping up around and after Level 7.

What should I really focus my enchants towards? I figure as much + I can to it. But is there a enchant that would be better? I figure Holy isn't great since it is not Multiplied by spirited charge but Perhaps a Bane weapon can be of use. Go full Bore Human Hate. What would be best?
