Let me rephrase to give advice. Do not do this and dump them all.

Just to touch on one point: as an evil group, how many "evil teams" can you think of where the big mean dumb guy was on par with the evil genius guy(s)? Unless you want to end up being their tool and that role sounds fun to you, I would adjust it somewhat.
