I thought I'd just bravely remind you all that you've only got a few days left until Broken Freelancers II comes to an end on Wednesday.
If you are submitting to this open call I need your submission by the end of Wednesday. (I'm not a huge fan of time zones and exact times so as long as you submit it before I check email on Thursday morning, you are good).

One last question Mr Broadhurst: in a previous contest you allowed 2 submissions per entrant. Is this still possible or are we limited to one shot only?
Per the rules, a freelancer can submit up to two encounters.

Ah Real Life, once again you mess with my participation in this fine open call. Oh well, good luck to everyone who did manage to find the time. :)
HS: you've still got a few hours. Could you maybe cobble something together? I don't know which real life issue is messing with your participation but who knows; maybe the inspiration of this last minute deadline will drive you to unheard of adventure!
Inspiration isn't the problem. I'm working on a paid web project with a deadline midnight tonight. It's prevented me from getting much sleep the last couple of days, so once I write the last line of code, I'm off to the Dreamlands.
I was hoping to be able to wrap up the web project a couple of days ago, thus giving me enough time to write up one of the encounter ideas I'd been brewing together. Alas, hurdles have been too many.
And I'm in.
Very pleased as a search-and-replace (before I filed) revealed I only wrote "dessert" instead of "desert" once (or rather only didn't catch myself doing that once).

I've whittled down the submissions for Broken Freelancers II to the final eight!
