Kensai magus / summoner ideas?

Hey ya'll. In our current campaign, I am running a 3rd level Kensai Magus. I want to multiclass him into a summoner, any one have any experience with this? Anything I should avoid like the plague? Thanks in advance!

Summoner tends not to be a popular choice to multiclass, mostly due to the Eidolon being tied to the levels in summoner.

It can still be a good option if you never planned on using the Eidolon feature.

Off topic - I tend to house rule that concentration stacks if you have multiclassed caster classes (otherwise, mystic theurge tends to be a bad idea).

Kay. Scratch that idea then. Well, on to the second idea i guess. Are there any supplements that focus mainly on ice magic or magic involving swords?

The Genius Guide to Ice Magic is a pdf product (third party) that focuses on ice magic.

There is also the ice witch prestige class or variant witch class (confusing that they are both called ice witch, yet have slightly different abilities).

It still isn't a particularly synergistic choice.
