I'm looking into aasimar and Tieflings and I noticed something. To be of a different bloodline for a Tiefling, you need to take a feat.
Aasimar can just choose to be a different bloodline. I'm pretty sure Dhamphir can do this too.
Also Aasimar can get a racial trait from ARG that gives them wings and a fly speed, while Tieflings do not.
Why is this?

While I totally agree on the "boo on aasimar" part, Rynjin is right.
To give a fuller explanation: Bastards of Erebus
first introduced the tiefling bloodlines and the fiendish heritage feat. The bloodlines were later reprinted in Blood of Fiends, but no mention of the feat was included. Now, looking at a more official source, the extra resources page for PFS shows that the bloodlines from BoF are legal, but the Fiendish Heritage feat from Bastards of Erebus are not.
So, the fact that the feat is not legal, but you can legally pick a bloodline, as well as the fact that aasimar and dhampir have a similar mechanic without any such feat, it is fairly safe to assume that fiendish heritage is no longer a 'thing'.
But again, I agree, aasimar get too many cool things. *censored* the celestials. Fiends 4 life.
