I was wondering if there was something that went over class roles in the Pathfinder Society. For example, how a barbarian would end up being a pathfinder, how they're treated there, what the society uses them for, where the barbs typically come from etc etc.
I thought I read something like it, but I'm not sure. In any case I was trying to mull over how to make some of the classes that might not seem like an immediate fit more Pathfinder-y.

The Faction Guide sections for various factions and organizations around Golarion. It also lists good class choices for each organization. The section for the Pathfinder Society reads:
Good Class Choices: All
Challenging Class Choices: None
I suppose that Venture Captains might usually select barbarians and fighters to work as guards at various lodges, while wizards and bards organize their collection of chronicles, but given the huge variance possible from one PC to the next, I don't think that classes alone determine a PCs role in the Society. How that PC is played, portrayed, etc determines where they belong. Don't feel pigeonholed by your class into playing them a certain way. Find a concept that you enjoy and tell us how they fit into the society.
