Tiefling Abilites

Hey PF people,
I am a tiefling and i want a bite ability. Tieflings can get these, but my character creating program says its illegal for PFS play. Is that right?

Maw or Claw is PFS legal.

From Additional Resources:

Tieflings: all alternate racial traits, favored class options, racial equipment, feats, magic items, and spells are legal for play; all racial archetypes except Fiendish Vessel are legal for play.

Alright i saw the addit. sources.. only maw and claw? or is that some expression. Cause if they are all legal, im snagging large limbs. But thats ridiculously overpowered.:) like 2 bastards= 2d8+4 and 2d8+2 each turn at +0. but dont post about how its not optimized. I have another thread about that and its settled.

You are likely just selecting it from the Variant Tiefling Abilities, and not the Alternate Racial Traits.

Variant Tiefling Abilities, like those that grant DR 2/silver, or over-sized limbs, are on a table in the Blood of Fiends book, in which you roll a D%, and you get an ability that replaces your spell-like ability. One of those on the table, is a bite.

These are not legal for PFS.

Now, the Alternate Racial Traits, presented in the Advanced Race Guide, are legal. One of those is the "Maw or Claw", which provides a Bite, or two Claws, and replaces the Spell-like ability.

So, two sources, allow the ability to gain a Bite.

One legal, and one not.
