I know that mentioning squats on Games Workshop forums gets the thread deleted and the mentioner permabanned.

Don't know what happens to people who mention paladins of Asmodeus here though.

Any other stuff?

Edition warring here is Verboten.

...and Fight Club.

Rides a land train with gyrocopter air support happily across the battlefield towards an army of Tech-Guard infantry, waving to the occasional passing Zoat.

I never heard of Fight club getting you permabanned... nor edition warring. But then, the edition wars are largely over (everyone's breathing in before 5th edition hits the shelves), Paizo is very much not the same as GW, and the target audience is not the same.

Considering what has been accepted on the boards here, there isn't much of anything that gets people permabanned for mentioning.

I believe that you could fill a post with bigotry, libel, profanity, and illegal material, and Paizo will simply delete your post and put up a warning to cut it out. It won't get you banned.

To get banned, I think you'd have to post such messages so frequently that the Paizo staff would have to waste a somewhat significant portion of its precious time deleting them.

I've been filling my posts with profanity, unpleasant material and communism for, like, four years now. I think I received an e-mail once.

Precisely. It's a policy I am grateful for. They have removed a few of my posts on occasion, but it's not about no-go areas. But... seriously? Squats? As in the exercise move?

squats = space dwarves

In the original versions of the miniature battle game "warhammer 40,000" they were a playable army, but they were dropped, mostly because the size of the miniatures made them the subject of too many table top arguments because the game, originally, required players to bend down and get a "models eye view" of the battle to determine if a model could target, and therefore shoot at, another model.

Oh, and I think Pudding is a banned topic around here, at least I never see anyone talking about it, not much anyway

And what's the difference between butterscotch pudding and caramel pudding anyway?

Squats sounds like they used a failed ruleset. I guess that got blown out of proportion to the Nth degree.

I have used enough black pudding in my posts to know that's not true... =)

They taste different, don't they?

Sure, maybe, I don't know, okay, maybe, but damn if they don't look an awful lot like the same stuff. Like, when it's the second or third layer on a parfait, it scares me.

I wonder if Black Pudding tastes like licorice?

Don't think so, as the ingredients are drastically different.

Blood is not equivalent to root.

Squats were retconned out of existence by the GW staff. And after people kept asking for them, now every mention of squats gets the thread deleted, the poster perma and IP banned. Because the GW staff are such nice people who can admit their own mistakes.

Heh. Sounds beautiful.

One is delicious, and the other is butterscotch. :P
