They get:
Judgment (Su): A heretic gains the following judgment in addition to the normal list of inquisitor judgments.

Escape (Su): Each time the inquisitor using this judgment hits an opponent with a melee or ranged attack, she can use a move action attempt to create a diversion to hide (see the Stealth skill).

"Creating a Diversion to Hide: You can use Bluff to allow you to use Stealth. A successful Bluff check can give you the momentary diversion you need to attempt a Stealth check while people are aware of you.

Action: Usually none. Normally, you make a Stealth check as part of movement, so it doesn't take a separate action. However, using Stealth immediately after a ranged attack (see Sniping, above) is a move action."

So can you attack, and gain total concealment?

Might ranged be at -10 (sniping)?

Would melee have no penalty?

Can you move?

My understanding is that you still need to move into cover after doing this. You hit someone, they turn around for a moment, and that's your chance to skedaddle into cover. You can't Hide in Plain Sight (unless you pick up that ability elsewhere).

Also, unless you have access to a second move action (or a swift action attack in the first place), you would have to have cover or concealment or be able to reach cover or concealment with a 5' step.

Combat provides partial cover so can't you loose yourself in the 'fog of war'. Stealth has changed you can make a check without cover or concealment and move through areas without cover or concealment.

I'm not seeing that change to the skill on Paizo's PRD. Can you refer us to where the change is?

The last change involved that when you start in cover, you make your stealth check then are in stealth until you end your turn out of cover, or you attack or do another action that calls attention to yourself. (Like saying "Dodge this!")

This ability allows you to go back into stealth after you attack, but you still need to end your turn in cover to keep it.

Sound about right, folks?
