So I've started a new character for a home game, and I've encountered an issue and was wondering if anyone knew of a solution.
I am playing a Drow Ninja, and am still only level 1, so I have a long way for advancement. The idea is, to take the Drow Magic feats in the Advanced Race Guide, which will ultimately give me Deeper Darkness at will. The issue I ran into, is that my drow Darkvision does not allow me to see in this particular environment. What I want to do is use Deeper Darkness to cast on an item, and basically use it to get continuous sneak attacks on my enemies that can't see me. Is there anyway for me to be able to see in Deeper Darkness in anyways, via feats, magic items, or even a class ability? I have found nothing solid as of yet.

Thanks....I'm looking to get it the easiest way possible, and it's pretty it takes 3 feats to get the spells on my own. But any solutions are welcomed. I looked into blindfighting, but that's another 3 feats if you get the full benefits.
I'll have to ask someone I play with how their ninja does it next time we play.

But you aren't sure of any way to straight up just see in Deeper Darkness? I found an item called Gloom Mask, but it's a 3.5 item. Haven't yet found something comparable in Pathfinder.
As I understand Deeper Darkness, it simply lowers the light level two steps. If you cast it in dim light or darkness, then yes, your darkvision doesn't let you see because you have dropped the area down to supernatural darkness.
In your situation, you can still get your sneak attack as long as you're not under the effect of deeper darkness while in an environment that would normally be dim light or darker.
For brighter light areas, deeper darkness is a lighting condition. Only when deeper darkness is cast in dim or darkness does it become supernaturally dark. The warlocks from 3.5 could see through it. There is an 80,000g item in pathfinders that can see through it - but that's not a really viable answer.

Blind Man's Fold is a 12,000g item that grants the wearer Improved Blind Fighting feat.
Thanks for the ideas. Just seems crazy that there is no real way to see in Deeper Darkness. Especially for a race of underground dwellers.

See if your GM will let you adapt the tiefling Fiend Sight feat for drow. :P It's a two-feat expenditure, but thems the breaks.
Elixir of Darksight.
Gem of Seeing (or basically anything that gives you True Sight)
Weapons with the Heartseeker ability, combined with a very high perception.
Psicrystals (if you can take psionic classes)
A Gloom Blade give you blind fight, but only when it is in supernatural darkness.
