Need suggestions for a food trait

Homebrew and House Rules

So, I'm starting an all dwarven campaign, and I've decided to add a few traits of my own to add some additional dwarfy flavor.

I could use some suggestions on what sort of trait bonus to give a food-based trait.

Red Meat off the Bone
You have a love of food that surpasses that of most dwarves. There is nothing more fortifying and enjoyable to you than a hearty meal.
Benefit: Gain a +? trait bonus to ????? after consuming a full course meal.

Thanks!

Really? No one?

+2 to Fortitude. But, i don't know that I recommend this, as it is entirely situational; how long does it last? Why wouldn't the character just always eat a full course meal all the time? A cleric can cast a spell to create a full course meal, so he just gets a pearl of power and boom, a constant-on trait bonus.

Maybe something more like

Benefit: Gain a +2 trait bonus to fortitude. This benefit is temporarily lost if you haven't eaten a warm meal in the last 8 hours.

This will make stopping and camping more strategic. Assuming you're looking for more roleplaying from dwarves than just lopping off shins and swilling grog.

Delighted Glutton
There is nothing that lifts your spirits like eating too much.
Benefit: You gain a +1 trait bonus to Fortitude and Will saving throws for two hours after consuming a large, freshly cooked meal. If you do not make a Fortitude or Will saving throw within the two hours, you instead gain a +1 trait bonus to the first Fortitude or Will saving throw you make within eight hours after the meal.

I don't have to worry about the players exploiting a trait. I've got a pretty good group. I hadn't considered the duration issue, though.

Good ideas, gentlemen :)

Maybe a +2 to fort saves after meal since the bulk in you belly helps protect you?

Or a permanent +1 bonus to stability based on extra weight?

The more he uses this trait, the more his DEX should slowly go down.

Because he's fat.

As described, I'd have any bonus expressed as a Morale bonus. Assuming that the meal gives a relaxed and contented feeling, maybe a +2 to Diplomacy to reflect the shared bonhomie.

Give him a +1 morale bonus to the first skill check, attack roll, Fortitude save, or Will save made within an hour of eating a hearty meal. After that, the bonus is lost (he's digested too much).

Rather than a bonus (as many traits already offer bonuses to saves, etc.)

"After eating a hearty meal, you are fortified for work and adventure. You gain the benefits of the Endurance feat for one hour. If you have the Endurance feat, you gain an additional +1 bonus to all checks and saves affected by that feat for an hour instead."

If you do feel the need to qualify "hearty meal" (though you don't seem to), I'd suggest something like "a serving of dwarven trail rations, a good quality meal served at an inn, or a serving from heroes feast, or roughly the equivalent of any of these. You gain the additional benefits of meals that grant bonuses or boons as normal."
