Who is Ranalc?

here is a question that has most likely been asked a thousand times but I can never find the answer to and that is who the hell is count Ranalc other than a couple of vague lines about being banished to the shadow plane and some guy named nex there is nothing about him I mean who r his followers how does he like to be worshiped somebody must know something about this guy other than he vanished at the same time as nex appeared

We haven't really said more than a few sentences about any of the Eldest, and until we do a book exploring the First World more, we're unlikely to expand upon them very much. There are a number of us on the team that really want to do more with the First World and the Eldest (most namely Senior Editor James Sutter), so it's just a matter of time. Despite this, there's currently nothing on the schedule to shed more light on Count Ranalc or his connection to Nex.

Might I also direct you to the Pathfinder Wiki? There's nothing in there that Mark didn't mention, but generally, I find that's a great first stop for any lore questions because, if nothing else, it lists all the products that mention a particular being/place/thing.

If it's been millennia since Ranalc was banished, then a certain connected villain from Kingmaker has been EXTREMELY lazy about their prime agenda...
