Ending Scenario: is the blessing deck banished?

Rules Questions and Gameplay Discussion

Once you’ve played a scenario, whether you won or lost, rebuild your character deck (see Between Games, below). Put all other cards back into the box.

Emphasis mine.

I have just started the hook mountain massacre, so I may remove basic boons from the game when I banish those.

Question: May I remove all the Blessings of the Gods from the blessing deck after the scenario? This question can be rephrased as: "Is putting a card back into the box the same as banishing the card?"

If this has been asked before my apologies, please point me to the right thread.

No. Putting a card back in the box is not the same as banishing it.

Imagine how fast you would run out of Blessings of the Gods if you banished the blessings deck after each game.

Not the same thing, no.

That was the idea ;-) I do not encounter that many blessings, my Seelah only has two blessings of Iomedae and would like to have more when she gets to the end of this adventure...

I made a worksheet to keep track of what I've removed. Its also got all the rules about when things are banished and when they aren't. You can find it here on BGG if you want it.
