The thread name is pretty self explanatory but to elaborate now that we have abilities like channel energy floating around how exactly are they priced if a party were to want to pay for someone to use them on themselves or their party in a similar capacity to when someone wants to buy a casting of a spell?

Figure it as per a spell of the maximum a Cleric could cast at that level? At least that's how I'd Rule 0 it. 3 + Cha mod times per day is usually about all you could hope for with highest level spell slots. Maybe as a spell 1 level lower than the max the cleric could cast, but around that sounds right.

I can't find anything in my pathfinder material, but in my DMGII there is a section on hiring services from "adventurer" NPC's (read NPC's with PC class levels) price is level squared in gold pieces per day, plus a split of share of loot. However, if the NPC is the same level or higher than the PC's then they charge 10x that amount and a full share of the loot.
I would say a fair middle would be (level squared x 10)/(number of channels per day)=amount charged.
Using this method I have determined the following:
Level #d6 Daily Uses Cost Per Channel Avg Cost/Point Healed
1 1(3.5) 6 1.67gp .47gp
3 2(7) 6 15gp 2.14gp
5 3(10.5) 8 (feat) 31.25gp 2.98gp
7 4(14) 9 (attribute) 54.44gp 3.89gp
9 5(17.5) 10(attribute) 81gp 4.63gp
11 6(21) 10 121gp 5.76gp
13 7(24.5) 11(attribute) 153.64gp 6.27gp
15 8(28) 14(both) 160.71gp 5.74gp
17 9(31.5) 15(attribute) 192.67gp 6.12gp
19 10(35) 16(attribute) 225.63gp 6.45gp
I was figuring a channel focused character so they took extra channel twice and bought charisma boosting items and took level up increased in CHA as well.
Edit: Well, that looks like hell. Linky Linky Easier to Read
