How to record games?

I cannot find the answer to this and have been looking for some time. Sorry if the answer is blindingly obvious

How do I log attendance at my games - only a few GMd to date and I cannot figure out how to enter so my players can have credit for games played.

Aeloth IVI,

To report games, you would:

1.) Click the Pathfinder Society logo
2.) Click My Pathfinder Society on the grey bar at the top.
3.) Log In to your Pathfinder Society Account if needed
4.) Click GM/Event Coordinator Tab
5.) Locate your event and click the report link. If you do not have an event, you will need to create one prior to reporting.
6.) Fill out the form and then click Save and Exit

If you do not have an event ID of your own then you will need to create one. In your My Pathfinder Society section, there should be a tab for GM/Event Coordinator. In that section, there should be a create new event. once you click on this you should be able to set-up your sessions. If you need help, or are unsure about creating a new event for an existing game front or group, you may wish to reach out to your local VC.

I have a question that kinda relates to this. I'm starting up a PbP game soon and was wondering. Do I need to register the game through the Society page you mention before I start or can I wait till I get done with the game and then create it and report it?

You can wait until you're done, but you'd need to do it before you can send out the chronicle sheets to the players, so that you have the event name and code on the sheets.
