Can a Divine attack spell be used against a monster with divine?

Rules Questions and Gameplay Discussion

I know this sounds like a obvious question, and I'm 90% sure of the answer, but I would love a confirmation anyway.
There are some monsters, specifically villains, that have just a Divine check to defeat. I can't remember any off-hand since I'm at work, but I know there are some monsters with like Combat - 21 or Divine - 14.
If I want to use the Divine check, can I use a Holy Light as part of that check?

I have been playing it as just a regular divine skill check, no attack spell allowed. Which is a little dumb, because then I'd just go for the Combat check anyway.

A divine check is not a combat check, so you can't use a card that says "For your combat check".

If I recall correctly, the ones that have options for Combat or some other skill have a lower difficulty for the other skill. And since you can still add things to non-combat checks, some characters might have an easier time with the non-combat choice.

Carrionstorm, for example is Combat 12 or Divine 8. It has the undead trait. So Kyra can use divine and her power against the undead. Her divine is d12+2 and her undead is 1d8. That is a 4 minimum. With just a feat or two in wisdom and/or that power, she's almost guaranteed to get an 8.

Likewise, Lini would be d10+1 and could use an animal ally for d4. That is 3 minimum. Again, with feats, she could have reached the point where an 8 would be guaranteed.
