I'm playing in a homebrew campaign where our 7 person party is basically tasked with preventing the end of the world after "resurrecting" the person who will do so. There is an intervention and said evil person is banished for 7 years and 7 days.
During our adventures, we came across a tailor (he'll go by the name of Mr. T for not giving spoilers) that was willing to make customized clothes for a person in the party. A magical handshake was used to seal a contract for the clothes (that absolutely will result in something terrible happening if the contract isn't followed). The agreement was to tell Mr. T an exciting adventure or story once a month via interaction. It was specifically stated that a letter or writing would NOT count for this.
Being that the party has a clock ticking against them for the entire campaign and that the party is needed in literally all parts of the world, the party can't afford to travel or teleport to Mr. T on a monthly basis. (Teleportation is heavily controlled by the Mage's guild and costs an incredible amount of money). Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.
Ideas we've though of so far:
1) Multiple castings (x10-15) of "Magic Mouth" to have a story being told via the Ranger's bird companion(1st cast = arrive at specific place, 2nd cast = after 1st part is finished, etc.)
2) Sending a letter of a story to someone else (an actor/bard) to tell Mr. T the adventure or story for us.
