Hi All,
Just wanted to do a quick rules verification (as it involved us getting the nifty new Mass Cure spell).
It's Lini's turn. She just encountered the Mass Cure spell at a location. She currently is holding the Badger ally and Crow ally in her hand.
Our question is this: Can she reveal the Badger to get her 1d4 AND play the Crow to get the additional 1d6?
We're sensitive to the never play two cards of the same type on a single check rule. We feel that revealing the ally is not the same as playing it so it seems like we're not in conflict here. Still, better safe than sorrow.
Thanks in advance for the wisdom +2,
Ben and Lil' Abby

The Crow can only be used for Weapons, Armors and Items, so you can't do what you're asking to gain a Mass Cure.
If instead, you had encountered a boon of a type that can be acquired by the crow (for example, a Venomous Dagger +2 that Merisiel desperately wants), then you could indeed reveal the Badger for Lini's power and use the Crow for an additional d6. In fact, you could reveal a Crow for Lini's d4 and use that same Crow for the extra d6.

Thanks for that clarification, csouth. I follow now.
3Doubloons - yeah, someone else just caught that. Crow is not all boons but your example makes perfect sense now...especially on the both powers off the same crow. I doubt we've been taking advantage of that in previous games. Always learning:)
Thanks, gang.
