Hello everyone,
I'm new to Pathfinder but am really interested in learning more about it. I have played D&D 3.5 previously as well as Vampire:The Masquerade. It will mostly be either me playing solo or my wife and I playing with me as the GM.
So where do I start? Aside from the core rulebook, what else is a necessity? What things would be nice to have? Any recommended Adventures to start with?
I love playing Dwarves and she loves playing Elves, so any advice on finding inspiration for adventures involving the two?
Thanks!

The game mastery guide is nice for all the settings and tables etc, as is the bestiary. If you are running published adventures with only 1-2 characters, be several levels higher than the recommended level or use the gestalt rules from the gamemastery guide to make beefier characters. For pure solo adventures, there are 3rd party adventure publishers that make these. I need to search to find them.

PFSRD; go here, winning. Everything else depends on whether or not you need to conserve bookshelf space.
I don't know what you like/use as inspiration for other games but for me inspiration is everywhere. If you're looking for good starter adventures or primers for the PF setting of Golarion, then pick up the Pathfinder Society First Steps modules; another good first AP that's fairly generic is the Rise of the Runelords.
2 modules that are low level and non-specific to setting are Master of the Fallen Fortress and The Dragon's Demand. Otherwise there's a lot of good threads on these boards for interesting plot seeds, stand alone adventures and unique encounters.
Finally in general, there's inspiration everywhere. Open up Bing, do an image search and look for Fantasy Landscapes. The first one that catches your eye think "who lives there and why?" Adventure should follow.
Here's one for free: the town of Huulenvar has survived a global event called the Wilding. The wilderness resurged from some unknown eldritch source and in the process the forests overtook many civilizations. Huulenvar was fortunate that their damage was only minor; mere miles from the town the manor of the baron was completely swallowed by the local forest known as the Mosswood.
Now it has been 20 years since the end of the Wilding. Even though two decades have passed the eldritch wood remains largely verboten to the townsfolk. There are some few rangers, woodfolk and explorers who dare roam the Mosswood. Recently however the terrors of the forest have visited the settled lands around the town.
Now Huulenvar seeks adventurers to explore the Mosswood once and for all. At the heart of the forest is Huulgard Manor, buried intact under a great hill of gnarled trees and moss-covered stone. The few explorers who've sought it either come back more fearful then before, if they even come back at all.
The main manor is 3 floors, modest in size, with a 4-story tower as well. Access can be had through the top of the hill by a hole surrounded by stones; this descends into the top of the tower and requires climbing/jumping down 20'. Otherwise the main door of the manor is concealed in a shallow cave at the base of the hill; there are trees with boles among the roots that are passages into one part of the place; there is a ruined chapel nearby that admits folk into another part.
Locations: there is the main manor filled with Vermin, Undead and other low level/mindless threats. The cellars contain hidden passages to a kobold lair below. Under the chapel are a mausoleum and crypts as well as the old baron's arcane experimentation dungeon. Below the gnarled trees are mites and other evil fey who have made the former cloister court their haven.
Notable Denizens: a wicked satyr leads the fey and holds debauched revels to boost his dark powers. He maintains a false love cult in the region and his minions travel in disguise to kidnap victims. A powerful black dragon in a great bog near the ruins acts as the patron of the Blackbile tribe. In order to serve their master the kobolds raid and rob along the roads. The baron himself has become a powerful undead with an undying vengeance against the fey. He's still working tirelessly to create things to undo the Wilding - he might unleash plagues, blight or have powerful magic items to help him and his hordes.

Hey everyone! I'm new to the paladin class as well. I am building a level 2 paladin. I am not sure what the best race or weapon would be for the archetype called the hospitaler. I only have 700 gold starting out. I would like to heal but still be able to do good damage. We can only use core, featured, standard and uncommon races. Right now, I am favoring human or aasimar. Any help would be much appreciated.
