Glammered and non-weapon / armor magic items

Rules Questions

I have an NPC who's a dandy and a bit of a fashionista. I was looking at his sheet thinking it must drive him nuts to wear the same magic items day in, day out. I feel for the poor guy and was trying tiu figure a way out for him.

This got me thinking about the Glammered enchantment . If he couldplace this on his other magic items, it would solve his problem perfectly. Can anyone think of a reason why this couldn't/ shouldn't be added to belts, robes, boots, jewellery, etc?

Well, for the non-magical portions of his outfit, get him [http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/r-z/sleeves-of-many-garments]Sleeves of Many Garments[/url]. Doesn't help with the magical part of his kit, but everything else can look different every time he puts them on.

I'm assuming from your question your the GM?

Either way I'd say no there's no reason why it couldn't as it has a GP price not an enhancemet bonus so it doesn't hurt his ability to get other effects or even get that expensive (relatively) or I've been looking at the wrong effect. I have a hengeyoki who got this for her amour so it could change shape (she didn't like having a squished tail if it was built for her human form or a slack chain tail if built for her hengeyoki one). In fact I feel there are certain areas where these kind of things would be a standard component of certain clothing above a certain price range simply because there are quite a few shapeshifting beings/races out there. Even laying that aside there are certain professions where being able to duck round a corner and go from black armour to brightly coloured nobles clothing with no armour as a standard action would be highly valued.

There's a ring of splendid security that let's you alter the appearance of clothes, armour, weapons and so on. Horribly expensive because if the other effects but if you remove the +5 to saves and armour as well as the 22sr and whatever else it offers you may get a reasonably priced (for a ring cramed with jewels) ring that let's him change his clothes, armour etc as desired.
