I'm a little confused here the text say's if the PC's let themselves be escorted to her she appears to them as a paladin with armour and a longsword using seeming (which from what I can see functions as disguise self on another) and attempts to talk them into joining her which is nice and simple. However it then goes on to say if they let themselves be escorted to her she uses project image and spies on them getting a +20 to appear as Yaniel and this is where I'm hitting a problem and I've got 2 questions I'm hoping to get help with.
1) Am I correct in assuming this +20 is ONLY to make the PC's believe she's Yaniel and not to disbelieving in the illusion itself?
2) What happens if a fight breaks out? Can a projected image be hit by a sword (if the save is failed and if the save is made does this affect that). Does she just abandon it and run causing it to dissapear if the PC's attack or does she have it cast some spells? If spells cast from an illusion you know is fake affect you do you need to save again?
I'm just not really sure how this quasi real duplicate works in combat and would appreciate any help on it.
I assume they get XP for beating her so it should do something in combat right, especially since Mutasfa is meant to spend several rounds observing before he acts?
