Understanding the Treacherous Cave: At This Location Trait

Hi Guys,

I'm getting a little tripped up on the Treacherous Cave "At This Location" text and was hoping someone could clarify.

It says: "At this location, you must succeed at a Constitution or Fortitude 6 check to move or be moved to another location."

What does that mean? My initial thought was if I decide to move to another location, I must make a CON or FORT 6 check or I'm going to be randomly placed at a location not of my choosing. Totally guessing though. Really confused.

Ah ha! Someone else just answered this question for me so I thought I would post the answer here in case it comes up for another player...

"If you want to leave the cave you must make a Constitution or Fortitude 6 check. If you succeed you can move to another location. If you fail you are stuck in the cave."

What you say above is correct, but the "or be moved" part is important too: if *something else* tries to move you (such as when the Spectre is undefeated), it can only move you if you succeed at your check!

Ah, I fell for this line as well. I read it as "You must succeed ... to move. If you fail you are being moved to another location." which didn't make much sense.
