Hey guys, so currently my character does not have access to the skill "perform" as a class skill. I wanted to know is their a feat or a trait and item that allows a certain skill become a class skill for that character? I know there is skill focus feat but that does not make it a class skill.
Thanks.

There are no feats that I know of that change class skills. There are a few traits that do (dilettante and savant for instance). If this is already an existing character that you can't put traits on, you can take the feat "Additional Traits" to pick two more, which will let you pick one of these. Some GMs don't let you take that feat except at level 1, since it's kind of silly to just discover new traits (which are supposedly built in) at a later date.
Also remember Skill Focus can tack on +3 to a skill.

Ultimate Campaign:
Mentored, but only one form of Perform
Talented - all Performs
Not sure where these are from (unless noted):
Savant
Looking for Work (Second Darkness)
Missionary (Legacy of Fire)
Barroom Talespinner (Skull & Shackles)
Dilettante Artist - Elf Only
Rude Songs
Hwan Artist (Hwabggot regional)
Varisian Wanderer (Varisian regional)
Faithful Artist (Desna religion)
Intense Artist (Shelyn religion)
Eye Of The Father (Torag religion)
I think there are more, but that's all I got for now.

Skill focus is also better than getting the skill as a class skill, since the bonus increases when you have 10 ranks, and it is a prerequisite to other feats.
Of course it is. Getting the skill as a class skill is something traits do, and traits are better than feats.

Not really. People grow and change. Significant events or special training as an adult could easily cause a new trait to manifest. Some traits (like Jaded) make as much sense developed during a long, hard adventuring career as picked up during one's childhood. And some feats (like Keen Scent) are a bit odd if developed after level 1, but can still be taken at that point.
It's all about how you flavour it.
