Sword Style feats

Advice

Throughout history there has been a battle, which is better the Sword or the Fist. Well, pathfinder in the Ultimate Combat gave us Style feats that focus on hand-to-hand combat. I was thinking of creating Sword Style feats. Though I'm not sure how to go about it, anyone got any ideas?

Only have one idea for a "style feat":parry, when an attack would hit, roll your damage die (without modifiers) and divide by 2, add that number rounded down to your AC. or do something with dexterity to represent reaction time to adjust your AC.

I'll keep an eye on this, maybe contribute later. Could be interesting to have "weapon styles" that could synergise well with specific weapons, and not just swords.

-Definitly a few focused on dex-fighting;
-A few that allow more interesting use of rarely used weapons (like maces/axes)
-Exotic weapons styles! Maybe for neolithic weapons, specific eastern weapons?

A lot of the styles in UC aren't unarmed focused. I'm not sure this is necessary.

Check the Tome of battle and the martial maneuvers (dnd 3.5). I am sure that many of them can be converted in sword style feats, like Thicket of Blades.
