And noticed they could be hermaphrodites. Very interesting. Which made me think of the empyreal lord Archea. Also interesting. So I'm going to try to build a hermaphroditic tiefling mystery cultist of archea. Seems like they would thematically go well together.
Base race: tiefling (probably div or rakshasa-spawn)
Class: still undecided. I'm thinking either oradin (paladin 2/oracle 5) or just plain oracle 7.
So, any other ideas that could fit? (mechanically speaking)
Also, for those who want to be otherwise creative, how would this character look? I dont want them to look inhuman (tiefling dont have to) but the question of a hermaphroditic human's appearance is a big one. Are they androgynous? Should one gender's traits override another? Or should their traits present the extremes of both genders?
Attitude could also be very peculiar. After all, arshea's cult is one of the few that might accept a hermaphrodite. Wondering how that could shape one's personality.
I guess I'm fascinated by the idea of such a character. Could definitly make for some interesting storytelling. While I'm pretty sure I'll never play it, it could make for an interesting NPC in one of my games. (maybe as high cultist of archea or something; could even be seen as an avatar of archea)
