GM Chronicle Sheet for The Confirmation

GM Discussion

Dark Archive 4/5 **

A number of the items on the sheet are dependent on the random selection of items and/or actions of PCs during the scenario. As a GM credit, do I cross off those items that were not given to the PCs in this scenario?

Spoiler:

Also, the Wand of Shield of Faith is not on the sheet. Should I write it in on my own sheet? I will write it in on my players sheets when I see them next as I didn't notice it until now...

Do not alter the chronicle in any way, even though it's on John's list of things to update.

As a GM, you can take any boon on the sheet.

If the item is not on the sheet, do not write it in for yourself or for players. Whether it was left off deliberately or accidentally, if it were meant to be on there, there would be a new sheet issued.

Gotcha, I won't add it. If the chronicle is updated, can I give my players a new one? The wand in question is higher CL, so not available any way but via chronicle sheet.

Unofficial answer: Yes and I'm fully aware that the wand is of higher CL..

Kyle is the author of that particular scenario, so you're getting the info straight from the horse's mouth.

(Kyle, shouldn't you have a Contributor tag?)

Depends on if you can call what he does 'contributing'. :)

Thanks! I will let them know that it will arrive at some point.

Great scenario by the way. So refreshing to see random monster tables :-)

Side note: Random tables for regular scenarios would really only serve to keep the interest of the GM as usually players can only experience a scenario once.

Thanks for the feedback, feel free to write a review! ;-)

Random tables also allow different groups of players to experience different encounters for when they inevitably talk to others about the scenario. So there is that too.
