I'm a PC/IBM guy by experience, but I spent a lot of time in my college days utilizing a MAC SE/30 - the sort of iconic unit that was very flexible and usable with it's graphic interface.
I can't embrace the self-promotion of how amazing the Mac is in the video, but I am willing to say that that what Apple did was revolutinize the both how computer interfacing can work and also the concept that the computer was more than just a large-scale device for teachers, scientists and professionals.

I started out on a Vic-20 and then went up from there. Eventually I got a PC, but my first Mac was an ibook back in 2001. I've had an eMac and I recently got my Uncle's 9600 with its SCSI slide scanner. The only Macs that actually work these days are that machine, an iPad 2 and my 4s phone.
I'd still rather have apple devices when I can afford them.
