Revisting The Third Riddle?

Ok, I'm reading the new Osiron book, and it references The Third Riddle (#11) I couldn't remember why I saw it... then saw it's retired.

Is there any plan/demand to revamp this scenario with the new AP coming up? Kind of like Mists of Mwangi? (And yes, I'd pay for a new version, even with MoMPF being free to previous buyers)

I believe it was said somewhere where the retired scenarios were retired for good... you can still play them for the fun of it, but they don't count for pfs credit

As one of The Third Riddle's critics before it was retired, I'd be delighted to see it updated and un-retired. It grew on me after running it more. I would just insist that Act 1 be moved to the end of the scenario, e.g. Dr. Rene Belloq ambushing Indiana Jones after he negotiated the trapped ruins and recovered the golden idol. However as much as I agree with Matt, I also understand that John's time is already spoken for and Paizo won't allow it to be done out-of-house.

They should make re-doing a retired season 0 adventure a new round of RPG Superstar for next year (and either cut to top 64 with round 1 or get rid of another round).

I'd rather see the non-retired Season 0 scenarios that haven't been converted from 3.5 to PFRPG get converted first. (Frozen Fingers of Midnight, here's looking at you.)

Normally, I'd agree with you, Rei. But if season 6 follows earlier patterns and is about Osirion, I think bringing back a heavily Osirian themed adventure would be a great idea. (Jade Regent is released, then Season 3 is about Tian Xia. Shattered Star is released, season 4 is about Varisia. Wrath of the Righteous, Season 5 is about Mendev/Worldwound. It seems that whatever the AP that starts in August determines the focus for PFS for the year)

The Osirion AP doesn't start in August, it starts in February. However, the Numerian AP starts in August, and I really hope they won't be following the pattern with that.

We've even got a 3 part Osirion low level set of scenarios coming out.
