| Noob-ish Pathfinder Dm |
Hey Chad, I just moved to Beverton from CA, and was hoping to find a local game. a cursory internet search makes it look like everything is in Portland though. Have you gotten anyone else in on the idea since you posted?
A few things about me:
I started DMing pathfinder twice a month about a year ago.
I have almost all the main books. I'm only missing bestiary 3 and regular player's guide. (I have advanced player's guide.)
I would much prefer to play this time around, although I have a full story and map planed out, and my game went Quite well for a first try at DMing. (I only had to check the rules a five thousand times!) The fact of the matter is that I don't have much time for creating new content / battles.
I like to have a few beers while I play, so I don't really want to play with kids. I respect people's personal choices and don't care if their straight edge or 420 friendly, but I only like to have a few drinks when I play. (unless I'm driving.)
I'm only really interested in playing if there are four or more people, my self included. It's not very fun otherwise.
I have played D&D 3.5 a hand full of times, and don't mind it.
I'm down with playing every week, but if I'm DMing, I'll need to take turns with someone else's campaign. During my game I DMed a week, and then played Melee with the same people the next week. It worked well because we could cover for each other if one wasn't ready.
My friends and I also played a few rounds of Magic the Gathering at the beginging of each game night, and I didn't mind it, but would prefer to RPG for as much time as possible.
I currently have Sunday Monday and Tuesday off.
Hit me up on facebook on which my name is "Oh Hi" if your interested in talking.
