Eidolon Spells are Lacking

I'm trying to build an ice based Eidolon for my summoner. The concept I'm working on is sort of a magical frozen knight. However, while there are two acid spells and three fire spells, there's only one ice spell, one force spell, and one electricity spell in the entire list. Even worse, the ice spell, Ray of Frost, doesn't scale to level at all leaving my Eidolon doing a dinky 1d3 damage.

My GM doesn't want to use third party material so I'm wondering if anyone has any advice? I really like this concept and I've already built my character but I don't want to be useless.

When you say Ice spells do you mean from the basic magic evolutions? because the summoner has a more than just ray of frost (Actually looking at it he does not even get that spell) such as wall of ice. My best solution here would be to take energy attack for cold, the eidolon would have a weak DC for spell if he is casting but an eidolon is very good at hitting things and i think an amulet of mighty fists and energy attacks stack. I could be wrong though.

It could use UMD to activate a wand, DC 20 isn't that bad when you can get a +13 at level 1 via Skilled (UMD), 1 rank in UMD, and Additional Traits (Dangerously Curious, plus one other of your choice). Later pick up a Pink and Green Sphere Ioun Stone (cracked, 200 gp) for +1, Skill Focus for +3, and (if you can persuade your DM) a masterwork tool for UMD for +2 (probably a set of gloves with the bonus only applying to activating wands, 50 gp) for a total of a (15+ranks) bonus to UMD.

Then buy it a couple wands of Frostbite (your character might want to take Craft Wand because this certainly isn't cheap), and use it's natural attacks to deliver the spell.

Add on Energy Attacks (cold), Energy Immunity (cold), and maybe see if you want to take Reach or swap out claws for slam then take improved damage. Then you'll have a nice little Frost Knight.

2d6 + 1d6(cold) + 1d6(non-lethal cold) + CL + Fatigue, 12.5*CL gp per attack.
