dazzling blade spell

Has anyone used/seen this spell used in play? I passed it over for a long time until I noticed the swift action casting time. I'm considering it for a red mantis assassin character down the line. Swift+free action will save vs blindness could be a nice way to get a full-sneak-attack on someone if all else fails. The feint/disarm bonuses are situational though.

The mass version could be a useful buff for melee heavy parties for a wizard too, with built in quicken.

Not bad but not sure that I would use it on a red mantis assassin. Considering the death attack /mantis attack need your opponent to be able to see you and actually be fascinated by your blade moves. Sure you could blind them or you could simply go invisible and stab for full sneak attack with vanish for example or even trick somebody with silent image. That's without even counting that you can simply learn true strike and succeeds on every single combat maneuvers with a +20 bonus check compared to +4 bonus you would get at level 8 of red mantis from dazzling blade.

Is the prayer attack that useful in combat? Having to wait 3 rounds I'd be worried with the combat going on around them they might make one of their saves. Seems like it'd be great for a single enemy, or maybe two if one's removed quickly.

I'm trying to think of ways to get full-attack sneak attacks in as our party is rather specialized: me (fighter1/rogue4/RMA), hungry ghost monk, beastmorph vivisectionist alchemist, and an infernal barrister cleric of Asmodeus (the archetype for Way of the Wicked, that's what we're playing).

On the plus side I have a reliable flanking buddy, but I want to be prepared in case he goes down or I'm stuck on my own. I plan to grab shatter defenses and cornugon smash, but that's not until lvl 9.

Oh way of the wicked...well you can use dazzling blade but some heads up, you will fight plenty enemies with high will saves, so usually, the blindness will only ever come up vs minions/henchmen. Prayer attack is good for solo fight indeed but I don't think there are that many solo boss battle from what I remember of way of the wicked.

I suppose that makes sense, given the setting.
