Moving to Northern VA, any good stores or groups?

Gamer Connection

Hi, Moving to Northern VA, Manassas area. Wanted to know if there were any good stores or groups looking for players in that area.

Like Pathfinder among a long list of other board, video and RPG games. Don't mind running and looking to start a Dungeon World group.

At the very least would like to know if there are good gaming stores in the area. Thanks for your help in advance.

In Chantilly off route 50 near route 28, not too far from Manassas, is Game Parlor. I haven't been there in a few years but they used to have a good selection of RPG, board and miniature games.

Huzzah Hobbies off our route 7 in Dulles/Sterling (further north up 28) is smaller than Game Parlor and is more focused on the miniature and Magic sides of the hobby but is pretty good.

Both stores seemed to have pretty active groups that participated in regular in store gaming.

Game parlor was pretty much the king of gaming of all sorts in the NoVa area.

They've since closed their Woodbridge location, a sign of bad things to come, but they're still pretty strong... Huzzah, as recommended, is also pretty nice, smaller, but a good crew...

Theres another store, Curio Cavern thats gaining notoriety, but starting with those 3 is a great starting point.
